Goin’a Get Blogdacious

Glue Pot’s website has been a static front and that’s cool, but with what’s going on, we’re changing.

Now there’s just too damn much excitement to ignore the wave. In the future (which officially starts…NOW) posts will magically appear for the sake, vanity and vagary of this publisher. If you know something that will benefit the readers, we encourage you to spill the beans. You can guest publish an article or make brilliant comments, just let’s work through this for all our benefit.

The editor’s input will center around two general topics. First, simply getting published, whether by hard copy or ebook our goal is to see you make the logical steps to becoming a modern day author. And for your information this begins with you’re finishing a book. Which brings up the second general topic, author websites. If you just want to rely on that small tin can in the front yard, stop here and go elsewhere. A commitment to your active participation online is essential. We want to make sure your effort is prudent and effective and to that end we will post.

Smart Self-Publishing

Experience Being Published…

Publishing houses create their own rules in the industry, making it difficult for most authors. Corporate publishers print thousands of copies, you lose creative control, earn only a small percentage of the actual selling price, and you are left responsible for marketing the book.

Would you enjoy seeing your own book in print and on websites like Amazon, and in bookstores? Imagine what it’s like having family and friends mention that they saw your book in a bookstore. But, what’s even better is hearing from a complete stranger after they read and loved your book. It can happen!

Here’s how we see it. You should;

* Print book copies as you need them
* Keep creative control
* Have a low publishing cost per book
* Sell your book on Amazon and other worldwide locations
* Own your book’s copyright, Library of Congress and ISBN numbers
* Have your book available for immediate order.
* Publish in the lucrative e-book format.
* Contact Glue Pot Press and publish smartly.
